Dries Van Noten // I'm really starting to take more and more notice of the DVN collections, perhaps because of my maturing taste, but I thoroughly enjoyed the FW 12 collection. Following the FW 12 trend of sharp coats and pleated trousers both narrow and wide, the ensembles that walked the runway carried extremely fine form and statement prints that made the whole collection a strong one for Van Noten. Ugh, the two tone sleeved denim jacket ensemble? MINE, PLEASE?! View the full collection here.

3.1 Phillip Lim // How fun yet well tailored is Lim's FW 12 mens collection?! The baseball jackets and sleeveless sportcoats turned vests had me begging for them, while I enjoyed the digital motifs that paraded down the runway. With black and white dominating most of the color palette, the pops of rusty oranges, purples, and blues lifted the collection into a far less cliche presentation. Those creepers are amazeballs. MUST. GET. MY. HANDS. ON. THEM. View the full collection here.

Comme Des Garçons // I loved this season's collection for Comme des Garçons and was easily captivated by the dark romance. With a mix of rebel and elegant punk, patch pocket sportcoats, long tailored coats, and cape jackets, the Comme Des Garçons man was tailored, but also edgy. The details from polka dots, infused plaids and brocade, to discreet black etchings, the collection was thoroughly strong and very much charming. That floral suit has my name written all over it; quirky, yet classic at the same time. View he full collection here.

Kenzo // Kenzo's new creative directors, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon (of Opening Ceremony) displayed a great, yet safe collection for their debut presentation for mens. With pops of bright colors and youthful prints, the Kenzo man showcased a fun take on tailoring from quilted jackets, casual sweaters, and sportswear. Overall the collection was simple, but also sophisticated and quirky that surely adds a nice punch to any classic man's wardrobe. View the full collection here.

Miharayasuhiro // With strong separates and structured outerwear and trousers, Miharayasuhiro's FW 12 collection illustrated a mix of military and rugged elegance. From the dark hued color scheme and varied proportions, touches of plaids and grids highlighted some of the best pieces in the collection including the puffy vest, oversized trouser pant, and the parka like jackets. The layering of the entire collection was seamless and really showcased the fine construction of the suiting and sportswear. How amazeballs is that camouflage suit? View the full collection here.

Junya Watanabe // These past few seasons, Junya Watanabe's aesthetic has really taken me back. Both practical yet inspirational. This season Watanabe conjured up a collection of the working man illustrating simplistic ensembles with everyday necessities like trouser pants, jackets, shirts, and even suspenders. Though the collection was simple, the details were absolutely impeccable from patch pockets, subtle patch details, muted colors in flannels, and great mix of denim and suede. Definitely one of my favorite collections of the season and easily charming. View the full collection here.

Givenchy // Givenchy's creative director (and my personal fav), Riccardo Tisci once again incorporated small details from his previous collections including stars and stripes to dress his collection this season. Adorned with an extravagant septum piercing, the Givenchy man was classic with an edge from somber black ensembles including skirts, and shirts and knits with American flag and star detailing. Having revisited past collections, Tisci included leggings and boots. Kanye's already worn some of the collections leggings, skirts, and tees, so maybe this trend will commence sometime soon? The collection stuck to it's color scheme of brown, red, black, and white, while embracing the tailoring and embellishments of the collection. Still a pretty gangsta collection to me. LOVE.
