Givenchy // It's official, sheer and white are a big trend for 2011's spring. I love the long sheer skirts Ricardo sent down the runway for Givenchy and the leopard print was on point. Zippers, like that in Lanvin were also present in this collection, which could make up for another Spring trend. This collection was very simple yet very edgy at the same time. Who doesn't see a lot of Carine in this collection? For more click here.

Alexander McQueen // After his tragic death, it was going to be very interesting to see what the new creative director, his protege, Sarah Burton, would be coming up with since his last collection. This is Burton's first collection as the new creative director and she did a splendid job in filling his large armadillo shoes. There were a lot of McQueen references such as army inspired silhouettes, butterfly detailing, and dramatic feathered silhouettes. I love how precise the details are in those dresses like the wheat dress. The hair and how it portrayed basket weaving was phenomenal; Guido always knows how to bring hair to another level. Truly inspiring and truly McQueen. Job well done Sarah! For more click here.

Chanel // My favorite place in the entire world in France was the Versaille gardens and I loved how Uncle Karl made the gardens the runway for his Chanel Spring 2011 collection. Staying true to Chanel the collection showed tweed jackets, skirts, and dresses, I love how he incorporated short shorts and jeans! Jeans in Chanel? Who would have thought? Then again I thought the collection was very youthful, fun, and whimsical. For more click here.

Louis Vuitton // This seasons collection for Vuitton was sexy, sultry, and all about the thighs. The Oriental inspired dresses bared thighs from short shorts, sheer skirts, to thigh high slits (very much like Marc Jacob's own collection). The collection show cased bold colors following the rest of the seasons take on bold coloring as well as animal prints. I can't wait to see editorials for Spring, it will literally be filled with animal print, bold colors, white, zippers and sheer! Seems like a whole lot of sex to me. For more click here.
