Yigal Azrouël // We carry Yigal at work and lately I've been gravitating towards a lot of his designs. Yigal's FW 12 collection was absolutely chic from the fur hats to the metal collars. Despite the minimal approach to the ensembles, touches of hand knits, python prints, and well constructed dresses and separates made strong looks from head to toe. One of my favorite presentations of NYFW this week. View the full collection here.

Tommy Hilfiger // For his mens FW 12 collection, Tommy took a different route ditching his all American prep style for a presentation much more lavish, rich, and European. From blacks, burgundys, taupes, and greys, the collection showcased a mix of leather, shearling, and quilting, which illustrated ultimate luxe. Definitely one of the most luxurious presentations yet. I love those quilted gloves, but how yummy are those two toned sport coats and jackets or those striped turtle necks?! View the collection here.

Alexander Wang // After an explosion of print and a moto inspired spring 2012 collection, Alexander Wang designed a much more subtle presentation for his FW 12 show with a strict color scheme of black and white. Besides his all start cast including Gisele Bundchen, Carmen Kass, Shalom Harlow, Frankie Rayder and Karolina Kurkova, Wang sent a galore of fish netted turtle necks and lots of leather down the runway. From coats, knitted sweaters, and calf length skirts, the collection was simple, yet strong which surely goes to show that less is more. I also enjoyed the fact that Wang's collection was very different than the others I've seen during NYFW. Simple, but sophisticated with no fuss, color blocking, prints, and such. Rag & Bone // I LOVED the R&G FW 12 collection for both men and women. Marcus Wainwright and David Neville created incredible looks focusing on layering with strong pieces and print. The ensembles looked equally chic as they do warm and comfy. Making this one of the duo’s most tailored collections to date, models paraded down the runway in sharply suited jackets, impeccable outer coats, eclectic prints and tapered pants. Need a lesson on how to layer? Just watch their FW presentation. View the full collection here & here.

Prabal Gurung // To be honest, I'm not too sure how I like Candice Swanepoel as the face of his label, but I did love the SS 12 ads with her as a brunette. Prabal's latest collection had a variety of looks from separates to dresses, and casual to formal. From cobalt blues, blacks, whites, and golds, this season's collecton was rich from the luxe coats and sweaters, to the sumptuous leather and feather detailing. And who doesn't love his psychedelic prints?! View the full collection here.
