Bite Me.

truetruebloodhairty

The summer is sooooooooooooo far from now, I'm sure I'll be finding myself going through True Blood withdrawals soon. Season 3 went by so fast, I can't wait for the new season. Team Eric, duh. Who's your favorite character? HBO better not kill off Jessica of Pam, those beezies are fierce.

Taylor Tomasi Hill

CC_2010_0229

Marie Claire's Style & Accessories Director, Taylor Tomasi Hill is growing to be one of my newest obsessions. Like Olivia Palermo, Anna Dello Russo, and Shala Monroque, I am inspired by how eclectically dressed she is. I wish I had enough balls to play with fashion and mix and match textures, patters, and colors, but I'm so direct with my style it's perhaps...predictable. Anyways, Tomasi Hill has been on my radar for awhile now which only meant that she was going to end up on my blog sooner or later. What do you think of her looks? She needs to make that red hair and cat eye sunglasses of her's into her signature look, because I'm butta bah bah bah...loving it.

Emily Blunt for Harpers Bazaar

Emily-Blunt-by-Paola-Kudacki-for-Harpers-Bazaar-DesignSceneNet-01

I've loved Emily Blunt in The Devil Wears Prada & Sunshine Cleaning, now I love her even more for sporting Tom Ford's womens wear in the latest issue of Harpers Bazaar. Looks like TF's collection has been blasted everywhere from Vogue to Harpers! On a TF note, I've decided to get his cologne for men since I've been looking for a nice musky scent which he does well. Anyways, what do you think of Ms. Blunt's editorial spread?

William Rast for Target

willrasttarget2

I'm not too sure how I feel about the William Rast for Target collection, but I do love that black leather jacket, and I need a new leather jacket! Even though I have my heart set out for an All Saints, I'm not too sure I can shell out $600+ right now..then again this William Rast one is $200. Idk. I'm still contemplating. I wish Santa Barbara had a damn Target!! I guess I just need to see it in person.

Ann Ward winner of ANTM Cycle 15

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy for my amazonian goddess, Ann Ward for AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODELwinning America's Next Top Model cycle 15. I've been a fan of the show for years, but by cycle 5, I was practically over it because the prizes were old and those who won, weren't really going anywhere. But now that Ann has won a spread in Italian Vogue, a cover and spread of Beauty by Vogue Italia, a contract with IMG models, which houses the best supermodels in the world like Lara Stone, Kate Moss, Jessica Stam, and Liu Wen, and a $100,000 contract with Cover Girl Cosmetics, I am beyond confident that she will make a mark on the fashion industry.

I truly hope she makes an impact, because I believe in her so much, I literally cried when she won!! Her story of always being picked on and made fun of is so inspiring. I also hope that she made an impact on those who experienced or are experiencing any form of bullying or harassment, because dreams really do come true no matter what you look like or who you are. That despite having a "shy personality" and extreme height, Ann was able to shine and bring her A game to every shoot, which helped her gain 5 top photos in a row (first in Top Model history)! TEAM ANN WARD BABY!!! As Ann gathered elite fans like Patrick Demarchelier, Roberto Cavalli, Andre Leon Talley and Franca Sozzani, I'm sure she will make it big! I think we need to run a national campaign to get this girl in the pages of US VOGUE! Congrats Ann!!

Nicki Minaj: Pink Friday - This album has been on repeat for the past few weeks for me. I love her crazy alter egos and she surprisingly sings well also. I love Super Bass, Girls Fall Like Dominos, Your Love, Right Thru Me, Blazin and Last Chance.

Kanye West: My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy - Finally, an album that doesn't suck like his last one. I've had All of the lights, Blame Game, Power, Monster, and Hell of a life on repeat also. This album does not disappoint.

Jazmine Sullivan: Love Me Back - I am so thrilled that she's back with her sophomore album, Love Me Back!! I literally could not stop listening to her first album and slowly growing on this album. It's definitely much more hip than her last album which was more ballad, but I'm glad this album is a bit more fun. I adore Don't make me wait, Excuse me, Luv Back, and U Get on my Nerves.

Kings of Leon: Come Around Sundown - LOL, my dad called me a few months ago saying he had bought both albums of Kings of Leon and insisted that we go to their concert. When I came home during Thanksgiving break he gave me my own copy and I listened to the whole album maybe 6 times when I was driving on Thanksgiving day back to SB to work. I guess this album is sentimental because it reminds me of my dad. It's one of very few things we have in common, but I love the music Kings of Leon created in their sophomore album. I love Pickup Truck, Pyro, Radioactive, Beach Side and Birthday.
