Gucci // Gucci's creative director, Frida Giannini presented a darkly luxurious collection filled with billowing gowns, lush coats accented with the finest furs, and relaxed suiting. The color palette of black, and dark moody jewel tones of emeralds, plums, burgundy, and sapphires dominated the runway. Giannini brought back her chiffon gowns with romantic touches that balanced out the dark tailored pieces in the collection. From the sheer, slinky, and sensuous pieces, I was definitely on a fashion high especially with lux fabrics from velvet, feathers, and leather. View the full collection here.

Etro // Veronica Etro took a more demure route for this season's FW 12 collection for the Italian fashion house. From a warm pallete of greys, marmalade, burgundy, navy, powder blues, and blacks, the Etro woman was sexy in slinky, body cautious silhouettes with classic touches of Etro prints. Hints of flirty ruffles, the most exotic furs, and leather brought out the collection to another level. Definitely one of my favorite collections of the season to date. Prada // Prada has continued to be one of the most highly anticipated shows of MFW and for good reason. Miuccia Prada took a similar approach to her mens FW 12 collection with refined suiting, tailored coats, with a punch of graphic prints. The embellishments continued from the SS 12 show on the coats and pants with beads or large jewelry pieces. The presentation started with a dark palette and worked its way up to color from oranges, purples, and pinks. Classic, yet quirky and modern; another great Prada collection especially with the reinvention of sixties staples such as long vest jackets and platform heels. View the full collection here.

Just Cavalli // The contemporary line of Roberto Cavalli was as fun as it was practical and stylish. Incorporating classic animal prints, the presentation included plenty of youthful shapes and up beat styling that was everything rock and roll chic. From the chunky knits, patent leather pants, to the prints, I was in awe of it all. View the full collection here.

Emilio Pucci // Peter Dundas was another creative director that took their FW 12 collection to a more glamourous, but minimal approach. The collection opening with strong sexy black dresses with sheer cut outs and worked it's way to luxe fabrics in crocodile, crystal detailing, fur collars, and leather fringe. Dundas included classic Pucci prints and brought out sex appeal in high slits and a few body hugging ensembles in sky blue and nude tones. My favorite looks of the collection were on Joan Smalls; classic Pucci, sexy, bohemian, and high fashion at it's finest. You can always expect to see modern bohemian and sexy rock and roll chic from Peter. Then again that's Peter...sexy. View the full collection here.

Versace // I wasn't a fan of the couture presentation, but I can say that I really enjoyed Donatella's FW 12 collection for Versace. With a dark color palette with rock and roll undertones, the Versace woman donned sexy silhouettes with short hemlines and fitted jackets in metal mesh and jewel encrusted detailing. Embracing dark rock and roll, Versace took the ensembles to another level with Betty Paige hair, spiked cocktail rings, and leather gloves. View the full collection here.
