Street Trend: Fedoras/Pork Pies & Panamas

hat4
Now that summer time has finally started, I can start to whip out my white denim/chinos, shorts, tank tops, tunics, sandals, and my trusty Panama hat. Lately I've been addicted to wearing baseball caps, so a nice straw fedora, wide brimmed pork pie hat, or another Panama hat will help me alternate and refresh my wardrobe. Hmmmm hat shopping should be fun..

Street Style: Christine Centenera

ccet1

Vogue Austrailia's Christine Centenera is probably one of the baddest bitches in the game right now (and for the past few years) when it comes to street style. While she's almost always dressed in black, she's got her swag behind her that makes her looks even that more bad. From Balenciaga, Chanel, Celine, Givenchy, and Balmain, this chic has it going all the time.

Street Trends: NYFW SS 2013

1209072196
Now that I'm living in the fashion capital of the US nation, I see so many inspiring ensembles on the street that it's really encouraged me to invest in both classic and daring pieces. I just bought a Marni piece and I've got another soon (WEEEE!!!!!). Oh, and Kenzo too!!! Ugh my love for Kenzo has multiplied, not too good. AHHHH!!!!!!!

Street Trends: Scarves

12066445
I was at the MET one day to check out the Prada & Schiaparelli exhibit and I remember seeing this super chic little boy and he was wearing a pale pink polo, white trouser pants that were cuffed at the bottom, and a cute little scarf that was tied at the neck; I remember thinking, "How chic is this little boy?!" So, while it did seem a bit creepy for three seconds, I decided to take a photo of him on my iPhone for inspiration. I really like how these gents incorporated the little accessory into their wardrobe. It adds a nice little touch to a rather simple outfit and completely makes it more chic. Must try this trend out.

TUCKED.

STREETFSN
What a clever idea, not to mention current fashion trend for men this is. Tucking in your tie sure does get rid of that annoying problem of your tie flapping around everywhere. I wear a suit as well as a tie almost everyday when I work, so I may have to try this out... what do you guys think? yay or nay?

Obsession: Andrea Porro

andreaporro2fav
Is anyone else as addicted to stylist, Andrea Porro and his street style other than me? Clearly he's a huge Givenchy fan like the rest of us. SWAG.

Style Inspiration: Piti Uomo

STREETFSN
Great style is always present outside of Piti Uomo. What better place to get inspiration for my own ensembles? Thanks to Nam, we get to see some of the best of the best and the attention to details are extremely extraordinary. I also love the play on color and prints from camo, polka dots, to navajo. The rusty oranges are looking mighty good. It's not often here in America that you see incredibly well dressed gentlemen. What the hells happened to our men? I definitely think we've gotten lazy and we've neglected style. As Anna Wintour says, "Where's the glamour?"

Street Trend: Prints

STREETFSN
Lately I've been absolutely loving and adoring anything with prints whether shirts, pants, shoes, or shorts in florals, leopard, graphic or abstract. I've been growing an eye for them and really can't wait to explore this side of fashion. My wardrobe tends to be a little more muted with neutrals and the occasional splash of color, but I really want to step it up a notch and find some good pieces with amazing prints. Mix & Match is the plan this spring. Let's see what I come up with in the upcoming months...also curious to see what Marni has in store for H&M being that they're also known for their incredible prints and colors.

Street Style: Fergie Ferg

fergfergcelinelim
I'm not really a big fan of Fergie's style, but how ferosh is her outfit right here? I adore her 3.1 Phillip Lim beaded long sleeve and Celine Phantom bag. On point, that's fo'sho.

Street Style: Taylor Tomasi Hill

taythillstyle1
Just needed my daily dose of Tay Tay's sick and effortless ability to dress so chic. Besides Olivia Palermo, the style and accessories director for US Marie Claire can definitely mix and match. I just love how bold and risky she is when it comes to dressing herself. Completely out of the box, yet always sophisticated. A true style icon in my opinion.

Maison Martin Margiela: Men’s Bracelets

margielabrace1
I've been trying to invest in some good jewelry lately and I have my eyes set on this skinny Alexander McQueen cuff (matching ones for both my sister and I). But I also happened to find these Margiela ones that I think are just as great. I'm not really a silver fan, but I love the variations of colors the silver bracelet has. I love the gold watch link bracelet, which reminds me of an old Marc by Marc Jacobs I have (in both silver and in gold). What do you guys think? It seems like men stacking their bracelets is slowly becoming a trend, on and off the runway.
