New Canaan Residence by Specht Harpman

I love how much greenery surrounds the house. I'm definitely a line person, which probably another reason I love this place so much. I think the surface area is amazing, as well as the layout. The amount of natural light that would shine into the home is also something I really like about the place. In my wildest dreams, I would kill to leave in a place like this.

How awesome are these chairs with the Mickey Ears? Tres chic in my opinion. Once I become a baller and move into my own place, I'm getting my hands on that red one. What do you guys thinks?

Home: Mike D's Brooklyn Townhouse

20130613-LOCATION-slide-MIN1-jumbo
I'm a firm believer of keeping a home sweet and simple, but showcasing personality through print, color, and texture. I love how eclectic Mike D's (of the Beastie Boys) abode is and really admire how modern, funky, yet still homey it all is. While each room is fresh and completely different than the next, it all somehow ties up and has the perfect balance of modernity, simplicity, and comfortability. I think the hanging, mirrored vanity is completely amazeballs. Also, who needs a couch when you could literally have a giant bed made of cushions? More after the jump.

Home: Athena Calderone

If I could have anyone's Brooklyn based home, it would probably be Interior Designer's, Athena Calderones'. I love how she mixes different elements and textures. I really like the industrial feel of her cement blocked walls accented with soft velvet furniture. While her space is more modern, I love the dash of country from the wood decal to her floral arrangements. I also think that in some sense her home is more so simple, but still eclectic and true to her personality.

"Never follow any rules! I am all about mixing and contrasting elements. I think a room should never strike just one note. I love combining polarizing qualities and using elements that seem like they shouldn’t work, but do. I think it creates a tension that brings intrigue and curiosity to a space. So, a clean environment with eclectic oddities, luxurious textures next to raw ones, old pieces with new ones, that’s what gives a room character and depth."

The Coveteur: Whitney Port

Since her time on MTV's The Hills and The City, Whit has always been my fav! Her personality and her style go hand in hand, fun, flirty, funky, and cool. Let's take some time to be uber jells of her amazeballs closet. Talk about shoes galore, she has got everything from Manolo, Louboutin, Chanel, Balenciaga to converse and Dr.Martens. I love how eclectic her taste is from colors and prints to textures and fabrics. I'm personally a little to scared to mix and match, but clearly it works for her. Besides her amazing wardrobe, she sure does have beautiful furniture.

Givenchy Scarves

gscarf1
I'm pretty much obsessed with everything and anything by Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy and I was shopping around Luisaviaroma, and I found these absolutely stunning scarves by the fashion house. How beautiful would it be to frame and hang up one of these scarves. Talk about fashion art work! The beautiful scarves range from about $150 to $396 and come in a variety of classic Givenchy prints. I NEED!!

The Coveteur: Petra Flannery

Petra_Flannery-014-full
When I found out The Coveteur team highlighted my favorite stylist, Petra Flannery, I just about died. Not many of us fashion enthusiasts get to see a stylist's work room, so I found this a treat. From Lanvin, Chanel, YSL, and Valli, this stylist knows how to dress her clients which include my favs Emma Stone, Mila Kunis, and Claire Danes just to name a few. How beautiful is her leopard Celine bag or her 2.55 Chanel?! And those leather gloves?! drool...
