Photo Diary: New Years Eve 2012

IMG_1459
I cannot believe it is already 2012! First things first, HAPPY NEW YEARS to all my readers. I'm sorry for the short hiatus, but I've been on a mini vacay in Beverly Hills, so I wanted to soak up all the me time I could get. I spent New Years with a close friend out in Long Beach at the ever so famous and equally spooky dive bar/venue, Alex's Bar. The bar is known for being Fangtasia, the vampire hang out in HBO's True Blood, which happens to be one of my favorite shows ever. I mean, who doesn't like crazy vampire sex scenes and sexy vampires such as Alexander SkarsgÄrd, who plays the tough and yummy, Eric Northman?!! The place is just as you see it in the show, eerie, supernatural, and a bit naughty. That night, a few different bands played while my friend and I enjoyed our shots of Jameson, beers, and Tru Blood beverages. NYE was a blast and definitely an unforgettable experience. Here's to a new year, new memories, and new experiences. I cannot wait to see what life has in store for me in 2012, but I definitely know there will be BIG changes.

Merry Christmas 2011

IMG_1324
Merry Belated Christmas to all my readers!! I hope you enjoyed the holiday just as much as I did. I got to come up for a few days and see my friends and family, and besides getting hammered all two days, I had a lovely time really getting to spend time with those I care about. I'm very family/friend oriented, and I don't have any family here in Santa Barbara, so getting to spend time with them whenever I can really means a lot. As you can tell in the following photos, I drank a lot, decorated gingerbread men that tasted nothing like I thought they would, opened gifts, and enjoyed tons of food that were fattening, but also deliciously yummy. Can't wait for New Years even though I don't really have any plans!! Merry Christmas again to you and yours!! xoxo

Photo Diary: Killer B's & Santa Barbara's 59th Annual Downtown Holiday Parade

IMG_0941
On my last day off before working a dreadful six days in a row, I decided to catch up with some friends by going to happy hour somewhere new, shopping, and watching some of SB's 59th Annual Downtown Holiday Parade on State street. Though I'm used to my favorite spot, Hungry Cat in downtown Santa Barbara for happy hour (their drinks are so yummy!), my friends and I wanted to try something new, so we decided to check out Killer B's, which in my opinion is more like a sports bar. Everything on the menu was all American, but very delicious and the service was helpful and pretty prompt in my opinion. It's always nice to sit outside on the sidewalk and just people watch. After our marvelous hh, my friends and I decided to walk down state and shop a bit and then catch a few minutes of the parade. Shopping definitely reminds me of how I need to start my Christmas shopping...crap.

Michael Buble: Christmas

bublexmasviviid
I'm probably such a weirdo for blogging about Michael Buble and Christmas, but I can't help it! After listening to some of his recordings for his new Christmas album, I couldn't help but feel sooooo excited that the holidays are on its way! I'm a HUGE Christmas person, and I will probably start listing to holiday music in a few days. Ugh, being surrounded by friends and family, hot cocoa, presents, shopping for presents, the smell of a fresh Christmas tree, egg nog, peppermint chocolate, and the cold weather just makes me so giddy! Yay for layering season!!

Photo Diary: Lake Tahoe

IMG_0480
An impromptu trip to Tahoe with my best friends was definitely needed this past Labor Day weekend. I was able to soak up a ton of sun, party, hike around Emerald Bay, shake my ass, and catch up with my friends. The weather was so beautiful and the air was so crisp you couldn't help but go out and do something whether it was tanning, swimming, kayaking, hiking, or anything else that involved the great outdoors. I cannot wait to be back during the winter season when it's all white, snowy & cold. I definitely need to dust off my board and visit the slopes next season!
