Governor's Ball 2013

Since I now live on the East Coast, I was really debating if I should still fly back to California this past April to catch Coachella for my third year in a row. Unfortunately, I decided to pass on the opportunity and I sold my ticket. On the bright side, I had decided to go to Governor's Ball earlier this year after they had released the line up. Being the huge fan I am of several of it's performers including Kanye West, MSMR, St. Lucia, Kings of Leon, Kendrick Lamar, Erykah Badu, Of Monsters and Men, and a slew of others, I was pretty excited. Despite the crazy weather and heavy mud, I had a blast. Definitely one for the books, but I've got my eyes on SXSW next year.. More photos after the jump!

Lately, I've been trying to get out more and explore the city from flea markets, trips to Central Park, shopping, people watching, reading, and just a lot of personal me time. While I live in a chaotic city, it's crucial for me to unwind with no one but myself sometimes. Now I just need to find out all the good loner places! I cannot believe how fast time flies by. Another year wiser I suppose after ringing in my quarter century this past week. I decided to do something a little more low key this time around for my birthday, which included brunch and a quick yet intimate time at a bar with some of my closest friends. A lot has happened during my 24th year, and I cannot wait to see what this year has in store for me.

Life: Golden State Warriors vs. New York Knicks

I went to my first Knicks game this past week with my roommate and I seriously had the best time! I recently just got into basketball and while my family and friends back home in Cali are die hard Warriors fan, I've become a huge fan of the NY Knicks. So when they knew I was going to the game, I was getting a lot of heat, but in the end I'm happy my team came through. It was a great game and a lot of fun! Can't wait to go to my next one. Go KNICKS!

I can't believe it's already been four months since I've lived here in New York City! Time sure does fly by and again, I apologize for the extremely slow updates here on my blog. Juggling a full time job with CHANEL and interning at BULLETT Magazine takes up a lot of my time, especially when I'm working 16 day work weeks! Anywho, mama's got a new job, and let's just say I've joined corporate America and I'm on my way to becoming a buyer!! Therefore, I'll have more time to commit to my blog and updating. Louis Vuitton X The Selby Part Duex

I think it's incredible that LV has a train traveling around the world right now. The Selby was lucky enough to be a passenger along the luxury train stopping in Shanghai and Paris. Lucky for them, they got to view some of the most beautiful sceneries around them during their travels. I miss traveling via train, it's so peaceful and you really do get to appreciate the views. I remember looking out the windows during my train rides around Europe and they were visually stunning and so picturesque. Enjoy!
