Ad Campaigns: Daft Punk for Saint Laurent SS13 by Hedi Slimane
Oh yes, this happened. Slimane, the man behind the reinvented YSL with a growing cult following, is definitely taking the fashion house in a different direction. Starting with Daft Punk of course, genius!

Frank Ocean for Band of Outsiders
Just like the rest of the world, I am completely infatuated/smitten/in love with Grammy winner, soul capturer, Frank Ocean. With his attendance to several fashion shows this past PFW including Givenchy, Valentino, Dior, Margiela, and Chanel, it was only no time he became the face of a design house. To my surprise, he's the new face of BOD, then again I'm not too surprised since he seems to fit the brand's aesthetic with his chill, low key, easy fashion sensibility.

Ad Campaign: Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2013
I still can't believe the days of Nicolas Ghesquière are officially over at Balenciaga. I've grown to be such of a fan of his talent, I can't wait to see what he does next. Buzz is that he will be starting his on line, which I think he should totally do given what he's created at the helm of one of the most famous fashion houses in the world of fashion. The ad campaign for his last collection, which was shot by the wonderful, Steven Meisel, is all that is Balenciaga; chic, multiple girls, fresh, and classic Ghesquière. I'll miss him...I guess we'll have to wait and see what A Wang delivers as it's new creative director.

Ad Campaign: Chanel Spring/Summer 2013
Unlike their Pre-Fall 2013 Collection, I really enjoyed the SS 13 collection Karl had sent down the windmill filled runway a few months ago. From the giant hula hoop bag, to the transparent wide brimmed caps, the collections was chic, youthful, and elegant. How beautiful is newbie Yumi Lambert? I haven't seen a beautiful Japanese (and Belgian) model on the ad's of CHANEL since the days of Devon Aoki. Love how conventional and 70's the advertisement is. What do you guys think?

Ad Campaign: Prada Women's FW 2012 Video
I love a good video ad campaign and I don't know why it took me so long to see this, but I love the video Prada shot for it's latest collection. Anne Vyalitsyna and Magdalena Frackowiak play the main faces in the scene and duke it out during some human chess kind of like McQueen's Spring 2005 collection. From the plot to the clothes, great video! I'm glad I still get to see a lot of Magdalena, I miss her (look at me, acting like I know her very well. lol)
Ad Campaign: Kati Nescher for Tom Ford Fall/Winter 2012
Looks like Kati's the new fresh face for the world of fashion. With campaign ad's for Alexander Wang, CHANEL and Tom Ford to nabbing covers from Vogue China and V magazine, this girl is on fire. But there's no doubt about it, she's a beaut. Besides her pretty face, how amazing is TF's new ad's for his FW 2012 collection? I've seen his bags on several different women, and all I can say is that they are breathtakingly beautiful, a little edgy, but sophisticated, and chic. I love a good pair of TF opticals too. Tres chic, no?

Givenchy FW 2012
Givenchy will literally be the death of me. Ricardo Tisci is my savior! I love Givenchy's FW 12 ad campaign which was shot by Mert & Marcus and features Stella Tennant, Joan Smalls, Stef van der Laan, Daniela Braga, Simone Nobili, Jarrod Scott, Rodrigo Braga. Check out the video below! Is it me or does Stella look like she stole dance moves from Napoleon Dynamite?

Ad Campaigns: Dsquared2 FW 2012
I loved the collection when it debuted a few months ago, and I absolutely love it's ad campaign which was shot by the fantastic Mert and Marcus. From the clothes to the styling, its nothing short of sassy, chic, classic, funky, and fun. I really like the eye wear, but the shoes are another story.... drool.

Daria Strokous for Chanel Paris-Bombay Pre-Fall 2012
We're slowly starting to transition into pre-fall at my CHANEL boutique, and so far I am blown away with what I am receiving. From golds, bronzes, and burgundy, to the exquisite detail of our bags et bijous, I am in awe. In my opinion, CHANEL's pre-fall season is one of the best of the year. Karl always manages to create a collection so extravagantly warm, chic, and elegant that it's irresistibly inspirational and lust worthy. For CHANEL's PF 12 season, Karl took to India for inspiration, specifically Bombay, and clearly created magic that was all CHANEL. I'm so DIGGIN the dreads, barrettes, hand jewels, henna tattooed inspired clutches, and the clothes....
