I'm usually not a fan of Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared², but I absolutely loved their FW 12 collection. It was such a breath of freshness among all the dark and moody collections coming out of MFW. The collection was so fun that the runway was turned retro high school prom with ensembles inspired by the 60's from pencil skirts, knitted cardigans, and cigarette pants. I also thought the color palette was fresh with blush pinks, forest greens, canary yellows, and sky blues, which later turned in to blacks and whites with evening wear closing the show. This is the first time I think Dean and Dan made really wearable dresses that weren't loud and probably red carpet worthy. Will we be seeing those numbers on the like of Chloe Moretz or Emma Stone? Who knows, but these guys are definitely on a role. How amazeballs are those heels?! and the jewelry?!!! View the full collection here.
