Dries Van Noten // Van Noten's signature print work was in full effect for the it's fall 2011 collection. I loved the whole collection from start to end, which was filled with mixtures of prints, trousers, knits, and also color blocking. The shoes were also great, especially with the hint of detailing from the black and white psychedelic print socks. By embracing lavish prints, rich colors and lush textures, this season's presentation of Dries Van Noten showed combinations of the print in a myriad of pieces without it being too much and still sophisticated.

Hakaan // I've never heard of Hakaan Yildirim and his line Hakaan before, but I suppose it's because this would only make it his second collection in it's entirety. Nonetheless, the collection was simple, chic, and sexy. A fashion house I'm sure Carine loved. This season's presentation showcased sleek silhouettes that illustrated lots of skin from thigh high slits, cut outs, and minis, it's def going to be one sexy fall. I loved the red number Mariaclara wore and that simple yet very sexy black dress. It's been awhile since I've seen a floor length dress that was still so chic, modern, and racy at the same time.

Balenciaga // Nicolas Ghesquière, creative cirector of Balenciaga sent out another strong collection for this fall which was filled with a floral painting like print, vertical stripes, thick jersey, circle collars, and leather coils. Color blocking, a trend for Spring followed through in this collection alongside fishnet detailing. Loved the juxtaposition of hard and soft materials given the structures and shapes of the pieces. Very dynamic, yet very Balenciaga.

Zac Posen // With his second collection underway at Paris Fashion Week, Zac's collection was surprisingly toned down with nothing but hues of blues, browns, and blacks. Pieces that flowed down the runway seemed finely edited with softer silhouettes, sharper menswear looks. My favorites included that croc mini piece Stam is rocking as well as the gorgeous blue number Coco walked down in. Everyone know's Zac can make an amazing gown, given that he did do Coco's wedding dress, but this seasons collection was much more subtle and simple, yet still very elegant. What did you think of Zac's collection?
