Giambattista Valli // Tis the haute couture season and from what I've been seeing, it's been pretty much a bore from Dior to Armani Prive. When I think of Haute Couture, I think about the incredible work done by incredibly talented ateliers, theatrical beauty, show stoppers, and I definitely saw that in Giambattista Valli's haute couture show. With a mix of hard and soft elements, the sophomore haute couture collection showcased feminine frocks with touches of croc, lace, flowers, and sequins. The collections color scheme of plum, fuchsia, ivory, and black were absolutely stunning. Surely we'll be seeing a lot of the dresses from this particular collection on the red carpet. How amazeballs are the golden rose neck pieces?! View the full collection here.
Givenchy // Riccardo Tisci took a darker approach than his spring 2012 haute couture collection for the label, but the results are equally as stunning. The extraordinary gowns were much more harder and tougher than his previous collection with looks made of croc, leather, beaded embellishments, oversized septum rings and earrings. I'm starting to feel like I will NEVER not like a collection by Riccardo Tisci, he's just unstoppable. But wth is Maria Clara Boscono? View the full collection here.
Elie Saab // Romance and femininity were on Elie Saab's mind for the label's spring 2012 haute couture collection showcased in Paris earlier this week. This collection most definitely had a number of red carpet worthy gowns whether short or floor length, sleeveless, short sleeve, or long sleeve. A contendor for celebs of all ages for sure. It's pastel hued color scheme of pinks, sea foams, blues, and whites were absolutely stunning. I particularly love the ensemble on Jacquelyn Jablonski. View the full collection here.
