Balenciaga // Nicholas Ghesquiere is a pure genius when it comes to construction and structure. His designs for this infamous house never speak of trend, but more so, art which makes it more interesting to look at. I really do enjoy seeing what he comes up with each season, because it's always very different, yet still true to the Balenciaga style. Those killer red shorts are to die for and those sheer patterned shirts should be a piece in any smart women's wardrobe. For more click here.
Zac Posen // Everyone know's Zac makes great clothes for women. I love the way he shows femininity and sensuality in his designs. There's also subtle references to power among those feminine and sensual layers, which can be seen in the pant suits he creates. To me, it feels like he took one end of the fabric, wrapped it around his models (speaking of models, I love Carmen Kass' new hair!), and BAM! made a beautiful dress! C'est tres sexy, no? PS. I spy a sheer trend for spring, do you? For more click here.
Christian Dior // John looks like he had a lot of fun with this Spring's Dior collection with references to sailors and hula theme. Again, I love the uptake on sheer in his dresses, the variety in shoes!, the bold colors!, and the Bettie Paige-esque hair. The prints on the dresses are perfect for spring/summer, who wouldn't want to go to a Luau themed party wearing one of these island printed dresses? I would! For more click here.
Isabel Marant // J'adore mademoiselle Marant parce qu'elle fait de beaux vĂȘtements. She's always true to her style and the clothes she makes and you can tell she's the sort of designer that designs with reference to herself a lot of the time. I'm glad she brought back the slouchy boot, which was a hit with girls all around the world like homewrecker Siena Miller. I love the knitted sweaters and crocheted dresses. The jackets were unstoppable, and what cool girl wouldn't want those printed tee's and pants? For more click here.
