Currently Jamming To...
Drake ft. Rihanna - Take Care: This song is everywhere and for good reason. Despite they're past rendezvous with one another, they make good music together. To be honest, Drake's whole album is quite good and it's a great follow up to his previous album Thank Me Later.
Drake ft. Rick Ross - Lord Knows: Just one of those songs where it's so good it's rock your head back and forth while closing your eyes good. Plus I just love how gangsta Rick Ross is. I love him. "I fell in love with the pen, started fucking the ink. The hustle's an art, I paint it what I would think. Still allergic to broke, prescription strength of the paper"
Cher Lloyd - Superhero: Her album is such a guilty pleasure. I feel like a teenage girl when I listen to her songs, but they're so good. After coming so close to the X Factor title last year, Cher has come along way and her first album in my opinion is pretty strong. Upbeat, sassy, and pure pop. I love this song, especially when she sings it acapella.
Kelly Clarkson - Hello (Smokestack Session): Even though she's probably the only relevant AI winner (besides Carrie), she still comes out with great music. I love her album, Stronger, and I can't help but have this song on repeat. Her voice is so flawless; she'd probably be amazeballs live. Her Smokestack Session EP is soooo good.
Florence + The Machine - Landscape: I absolutely love Florence and her infectiously ethereal voice. Though this song is just a demo on her sophomore album, Ceremonials, it's been on repeat more than her actual tracklist.
Bridget Kelly - Seek And Destroy: Seriously? You better not fuck this up. You better not fuck this up. Such a catchy melody with sassy lyrics to match. Bridget gives me a Keyshia Cole and Keri Hilson vibe and it's pretty awesome. I'm digging the slight raspy-ness of her voice.
Sean Avery for Mr. Porter
Even though I'm devastated him and Hilary Rhoda broke up, I am still in love with NHL superstar, Sean Avery. The fact that we was a Vogue intern and can dress incredibly well (for an athlete) says a lot;plus he's got an incredible bod (as you can see in the video above). I also give him kudos for being an advocate for equal rights. Drools*
Hyoni Kang for Flare December 2011
Can you imagine being Hyoni Kang and being able to shoot a spread somewhere as magical and incredibly breathtaking as these snowy mountains? Simply stunning and Hyoni looks so grown up! I remember reading about her a few years ago when she did an interview and editorial for Teen Vogue. The Korean model won the 2008 Ford Models Supermodel of The World contest making her the first East Asian to do so. She's come such a long way and she looks great! Glacial glamour indeed.

Mboko Ndimba Mobutu
Multiple bracelets, short shorts, vibrant colors, the affinity for anything white, man clutches, and a habit for wearing sportcoats like capes makes it seem like I have a lot in common with the stylist and fashion editor of Ghubar Magazine, Mboko. I couldn't help but agree and see myself in his interview with fashion blog, Monsieur Got Style; excerpts include:

a wide collection of shoes from luxurious models to more affordable ones.
Your background:
I actually studied communications and advertising after graduating. While still studying I interned twice as a fashion PR assistant, I then was approached to join online magazine GHUBAR's team as editor/stylist. Later on I started interning as a stylist's assistant for weekly fashion and lifestyle French women magazine "Be" then became editor/stylist for it not too long ago.
Your inspirations:
multi-tasking hard working and talented forces such as Milan Vukmirovic, Anna Wintour and such. As well as people that understand fashion in a way that they are able to produce iconic imagery that are larger than the entity they represent or work for on a stylistic, photographic level or else. I'm thinking of the Grace Coddingtons, Mert & Marcuses, Tommy Tons, and others. Without forgetting about writers as well.
As of lately, I would say that it is color-blocking. On a regular basis I guess either my glasses, the fact that I roll up my pants, hardly wear socks or my overall "preppy" look. People should answer that for me actually.
Your favorite brands:
Easily Dries Van Noten, Tom Ford and Burberry Prorsum.
Your advice to the Messieurs is:
Not to give a damn. Or at least try. It takes some kind of courage to get out there and stylistically assume who you are when you make strong statements through your style.

Obsession: Celine
Even though I just bought my first Celine Cabas Tote, I'm already looking into buying my next Celine something and it seems like I have my eye on these little guys. The Celine Pouchette looks like it's about 10" x 7", so it should carry a majority of my things when I think about practically and functionality. A card case, my lip balm, my sunnies, my iPhone, and my keys should be able to fit. But in terms of looks, don't they look fab?!! I can't help by yearn for my next Celine bag, and I'm about 70% sure a pouchette is in my future. When I don't carry a bag, I like to have belongings in one place and NOT in my pockets (unless I'm wearing a coat with patch pockets). I've already researched and SAKS has only 12 in the entire company on order from they're Resort/Cruise 12 collection, which obviously means my name will be written all over one! Perhaps a solid color this time...but a bi color nude would be ferosh?!!

Dior Couture by Patrick Demarchelier
In the world of haute couture, Dior by John Galliano was always a favorite of mine and for many reasons. The classic Dior styles with avant garde personalities, the volumes and colors of the dresses, the exquisite attention to detail and the theatricality of the clothes, the makeup and the overall show. John always knew how to create a KILLER haute couture collection for the house of Dior. Now that he is no longer the reigning man behind the label, former editor-in-chief of Interview magazine and the international editor for Vanity Fair’s European editions, Ingrid Sischy has put together a photo book featuring dresses designed by Christian himself to John Galliano. World-renowned fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier captures over 100 gowns coming from Dior Couture collections and judging from these photos, the outcomes look divine. Pure elegance and pure fashion. I wouldn't mind blowing up that photo of Monika "Jac" Jagaciak, classic and so artistic at the same time.
