I've recently been stalking Dan and his blog, which instantly became a daily read for me. I love his sense of style and not only use it to inspire my outfits on some days, but I use it for my clients at work. I've recommended suede chukka boots, camo details, and mix matching texture to my clients thanks to Dan, which has surprisingly made them excited to experiment with their wardrobe. Speaking of Chukka boots, I'm in dyer need of a pair or two, not to mention navy/grey trousers. AND WHERE THE HELL CAN I FIND A BELTED CARDI?! CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME?!! Ugh, my job isn't making it easier for me to not want to shop. But then again, I'm not complaining...and hopefully my bank won't be either.

Mad for Thom Browne
Now that I work and practically run the whole mens department at work, I'm constantly thinking about clothes for myself. I adore these Thom Browne short suits, which makes me super excited for spring even though winter just started. I love/want that shark&fish suit! Super fun and super spring/summer. Looking at this editorial for Wonderland, also makes me want a pair of Hunter boots! When it rains here in Santa Barbara, it pours, so I'm need of rain boots or duck boots. Anyways, my parents told me yesterday that my present is coming to my apartment a few days early so I am super excited! I've been whining about how much I needed a suit so I have a feeling it'll end up being something like that. I'll keep you posted!

Burberry Prorsum Pre-Fall 2011
Once again Christopher Bailey does not disappoint! I am love with his pre-fall collection for Burberry Prorsum, from what looks like velvet blazers/coats, the trousers, the sweaters, and the shoes! I love the browns, the dark navys, the greens, and the nice touch of orange, it's all very earthed tone, but still a bit rock and roll. I WANT I WANT I WANT!! For more Bailey madness, click here.

Mike Tompkins FEAT. SHAD - Only GIrl (Rihanna)
I think this cover of Rihanna's Only Girl is awesome. I love how he's practically a one man show. What do you think?

Lily Donaldson for Harper’s Bazaar US January 2011
It's been awhile since I've seen Lily do some editorials, but I'm happy she's back. I love this editorial she did with Terry Richardson, I think it shows a lot of the best of Spring. It includes my favorite spring 2011 shows including Prada, Marc Jacobs, Gucci, Fendi, Burberry, Dior, and Lanvin. Great job Glenda! For more click here.

New Addiction: SKINS
I guess I'm hopping on to this bandwagon a few years too late, but better late than never! To relieve my stress during finals week, I decided to watch the British show Skins, which my friends have always been raving about. After the first episode with Tony (Nicholas Hoult), I was completely hooked. I pretty much love all the characters, especially Cassie, Sid, Tony, and Maxxie. I've finished the entire season one in two days, now I'm super excited to watch season two on Netflix. Thanks to Netflix & Anna!!

You know how people sarcastically say, "would you like a cookie or trophie?" after you've mentioned some accomplishment your proud of.. well YES, I want my damn cookie, better yet I'll take cash! I am so proud of myself for juggling my internship, my part-time job, my extra curricular activities with Lambda Phi and the honors program and also taking on a sixteen unit school load. Wouldn't you think I deserve something at the end of it all? I do, so I'm contemplating on a few things, stay tune as to what I get!! Proenza, Prada, McQ?! The Christmas shopping has begun... as well as the celebratory drinking/shopping spree for myself, YAY! =)

Julia Roifeld's Home in NYC
You could say Julia, the daughter of Editor-In-Chief of Vogue Paris' Carine Roitfeld, has a charmed life, but I think she's much more simple than that. I remember Anna's, Bee Shaffer in The September Issue, mentioned how she wanted to steer clear away from the industry. I didn't know Julia graduated from Parsons, I wonder what life has in store for her. I think everyone must google Julia's brother, Vladimir, because he was one nice piece of eye candy.
Anyways, here's an old segment from The Selby on Julia's NYC home. I love the minimal approach, yet quirky little details. I plan on investing in Kiehl's product's because I hear they're amazing plus it seems like everyone including Julia is using it. I have really sensitive skin, so I have to be careful with what I use. I'm currently testing some Sisley moisturizer and a La Mer night cream and the results are incredible. Ler Mer is literally the cream version of botox, I can feel my face tightening instantly! haha Don't you just love Julia's Jimmy Choo bag? It's beyond sick. For more of Julia's home, click here.
